The graphics above show that Black women are often invisible, under-resourced and side-lined when judged by these parameters. Of course, Black women are and represent much more than is outlined above, and that is part of the problem. Black women have and continue to change cultures, shift conversations and innovate in spaces, including those that have not traditionally made space for us. In the time since TRiBE launched, Black women have created: Black Girl Fest, Black Ballad, black ticket project, Black Girls Book Club, black femme film and so much more.

Our mission is to support Black women in taking up professional and personal space so they can continue creating change for themselves and their communities.
